J-Zen

J-Zen is a French producer signed on Dooinit music, his style is a mixture of heavy beats and samples crushed to the point of making them unrecognizable. He made his debut on the beatmaking scene with his first beat tape "Breakfast" but with "Guilty Pleasure" released in 2010 he became more known to the public. This EP with prestigious featurings, Shawn Jackson & Substantial, was mixed by Dave Cooley (Stones Throw, Dilla, Madlib ..) and distributed internationally by Fatbeats, Jazzy Sport & Pusher. Since then, he has collaborated with Georgia Anne Muldrow & Declaime on the single "God Music" a custom-made production for the California duo and has shared the stage with the greatest (Dj Premier, Dilated Peoples ...) He is currently working on his debut album which will combine boom bap beats and futuristic atmosphere.
