Soulfinder (aka Stephen Hogg) hails from Ireland's capital, Dublin, where his passion for dance music took hold at an early age. Since he was 13, he has been involved with club nights and hosted his own radio shows on many of Dublin’s top stations, most recently Freq 93.2. With over 13 years of experience, Soulfinder has naturally progressed into all forms of house music, particularly deep melodic house. He has had regular bookings throughout Ireland and has performed in clubs like The Tripod, Club Mono, Tivoli Theatre, The Cavern, and Radio City. Soulfinder’s music is full of emotion with a warm, friendly vibe to please the ear while stimulating the dancefloor. His releases and remixes have been featured on Outside The Box Music, Jetlag Digital, Toes in the Sand Recordings, Monadmusic, Deepology Records,Mistiquemusic and Carica Records. His music has been supported by DJs across the globe, including Hernan Cattaneo, Danny Howells, Antony Pappa, Chloe Harris, Darin Epsilon, and Miss Nine, in addition to topping the charts of Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn, and MentalX. His Trauma EP was reviewed on Gomagazine.nl, where it was compared to Sasha and Digweed's Northern Exposure albums, Most of his releases have reach the top 4 on the progressivehouse/mypromopool.com Top 20 Dance Chart. He was also voted as the best Newcomer for 2008 by Shake Electronic in Switzerland, leading to a performance at Zurich at the world famous Streetparade. In November 2009, Soulfinder teamed up with Toes in the Sand Recordings to release his debut artist album, Wasteland, which has received critical praise from many of progressive house’s top DJs and producers. A continuous mix of his album was featured on FriskyRadio’s Artist of the Week broadcast. With more releases, remixes, and radio broadcasts lined up for 2010, Soulfinder is one to watch for fans of true progressive house.
