919 Followers姚苏蓉出道于六十年代初，于1967年翻唱了龚秋霞的一首旧曲《秋水伊人》，唱的声泪俱下，所以被人誉为泪盈歌后。同时也在这时打开了她传奇一生的大门。姚苏蓉名曲很多，除上文所述的《情人的眼泪》，还有红极一时的《负心的人》，《心声泪痕》，《我要活下去》，《秋水伊人》，《因为我爱你》等几十首名曲。在这里说明一下，《情人的眼泪》并不是其原唱，原唱为潘秀琼。姚苏蓉1966年参加正声电台所主办歌唱比赛，获得评审青睐，得到冠军，在翁清溪老师的促成下，与当时海山唱片公司签约，进入演艺世界已一曲(负心的人)令她一炮而红。
