Granted the VocalizeU Art Intensive scholarship of 2012 and California’s 2013 Hard Rock Battle Of the Bands finalist, Sarah D comes to Los Angeles to share and spread her girl power, infectious melody driven pop music. With a sound combination of Kelly Clarkson, Maroon 5, Katy Perry, Jessie J and Natasha Bedingfield, the 22 year old, Adelaide bred singer has swapped the beachy shores for the angel city to the angel city and is creating her mark in the local music community.   Completing her education at the Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, CA, Sarah D has since then started developing her sound and image which can now be heard on numerous internet and college radio stations (Acoustic Spectrum (UK) Switch FM (Australia), Indies In Motion (USA) and Triple B (Australia)).   Sarah D has had the opportunity to perform at the Pumpkin Patch Festival, Poppy Festival, Girls World Expo and the Raw Artist Showcase. Constantly performing locally within the Los Angeles area, Sarah D has opened for artists including Norman Kelsey and Graham Harper. With an already impressive fan base, Sarah D continues to build an ongoing and loyal fan base with each stage she steps upon.   With the amount of positive buzz Sarah D has obtained with her latest EP, ‘Over You’, she has received rave reviews throughout a number of prestigious publications including The Adelaide Advertiser, Music News Nashville, Music Now Magazine, Songs That Should Be mainstream, Warped Magazine and The Sound Alarm to name a few. She has set the bar much higher for 2013 as she continues with the promotion of her EP and continues to work towards the release of her album in the near future.
