Damage Yakkun

I want to shine like a healing sun.
But I am actually disabled, and I feel lonely and ridiculed. I panicked and couldn't even see my friends right in front of me.
It was painful.
When I wasn't on official playlists on AppleMusic, Spotify, etc., I cried to my family and hit myself in the head, saying, "It's over for disabled rappers anyway."
But I couldn't write a diss song for Damage Yakkun.
If he has a disability, I wanted to release a song that respects him before being on a playlist.
When I came up with this lyric after "Damage Rap Star," which I released with EarGrabb last time, Plue, who usually advises me on keeping the rhythm and pitch, actually said to me.
"Anyway, I want you to write lyrics that are full of confidence."
I trusted his words, cried, and reflected.
And this song is completed with the beat of GreasemasterH. The story is about the singer traveling in search of a new sun, and while he is shining, he is first feeling a desire to evolve his rap through loneliness.
Towards the end, he appeals to the reality of disabilities and conveys the pain of discrimination, then raps about being "prepared to get revenge through subscriptions."
Anyway, I am fighting with myself.
It doesn't seem possible, and I've been feeling frustrated lately.
After all, in today's society, not only are people laughing at me for not getting a playlist, but people are saying "a disabled rapper is lame."
But it's all over if I give up.
Now that I've reflected on the support I received from GreasemasterH and the motto of :Plue, I have decided to release it to open the prologue to my official playlist.

Yakiniku is something I like to eat in any season.
It's a source of healing when I'm tired.
When I'm anxious, or when my rap isn't going well.
It makes me forget everything.
He raps with non-blatant comedic expressions while riding the Detroit Trap.

I Like YAKINIKU

"I can't give up now." "It's not just my disability. I want everyone to know the current level of my rap." This is the second mixtape that was born from such desire. Starting with the chill boom bap of "Kakera," he talks about his worries about his disability, then the heavy trap song "Kinai ni Nai," which shows the strength of his disability. Then, with the message of his feelings that he sometimes admits "I'm actually weak," he concludes with "If you're going to make fun of me, write a thesis." After that, the submission song "Dame," which is his first Ambient Beat, mainly talks about elementary school, junior high school, and the past, and ultimately conveys a song that turns things into something positive, but on the other hand, "Communication Panic," also on Ambient Beat, he brings to the fore the pain of conversation. However, he doesn't feel that a mixtape is interesting just because of his disability, and in "We Need to Hurry," in which he expressed his desire to "get on the official playlist," he expresses his "anxiety about still being underground and struggling to sell after three years of career," aside from his disability.
But, I'm crazy.
In "Congenital Rap Syndrome," which I can say is the album that brought out the reason why I wanted to release a mixtape, he said, "I really love rap, and seeing the success of rappers like YZERR, LEX, and Kohjiya, I became positive about Japanese rap and was infected in a good way."
But, as he receives advice from beatmaker :Plue, he says, "there are still challenges to overcome."
That's why I'm blessed.
For example, if it were to suddenly go well and be over in one shot, rap wouldn't be fun.
But every time I become a fan of YZERR and Kohjiya and listen to AppleMusic, I think about this.
"Both of them have a great sense of pressure."

As far as rapping goes, I'm still at the level I was at when I released my last album, so I'd say I'm a "Bottom Rapper."

But I have no intention of giving up.

I worked hard underground for three years to become successful.

And little by little, I gained more friends and fans.

Even when things got tough because of my disability, overseas and Japanese rap supported me.

I still have a lot to improve with my mixtape, but I'm not done.

"Actually, this was just the beginning"...

Damage Tape No.2

Rap that conveys the feelings of people with disabilities.
I call it DamageRap.
However, the barriers to rap are quite tough, "Trap? RnB? Plug? Or the recent trend of Regalia?"
In creating this work, I faced more obstacles than discrimination.
Of course, my understanding of disabilities has not deepened, and to be honest, my rap is still poor, so I am still worried about "how can I resonate with even one person?"
However, I found something that will not waver as a core.
Anyway, DamageRap's aim is to improve the environment for people with disabilities, even if it is only 1%.
It is a culture that improves the uneasy environment and is different from beef.
After all, we are human, so we feel resentful.
In terms of rap, "I want to be popular soon."
There are 100 million worries like that.
However, if I were to talk about this work, the first song, [Boy], goes on a Regalia Beat and I spent a lot of time on the mix.
Yes, it starts with a stage that creates a fun space even for people with disabilities.
The next song is [Big Chance] in which he shows both his weaknesses and his strengths, and the third song is [No] in which he displays his resolve to the fullest.
In other words, it's actions that speak.
Then, from the fourth song onwards, he becomes a little more negative, producing [Bottom Rapper], but also making use of his strengths.
The fifth song is [31 Life], which depicts his feelings at turning 31, and talks about his current situation.
In other words, he shows how even when he's worried, he can return to a positive state, and in the sixth and final song, [Happiness], he promotes how blessed he is after all.
With this work, I struggled to figure out how to express reality without being too obvious, as my biggest selling point.
I myself was anxious, but I faced my rap and hope to be picked up this time.

Damage Tape No.1

As a disabled rapper, I have been working hard every day, wanting to become a star just as I am.
In the process, I have learned together with my fans that the most important key to rapping for us disabled rappers is respect.
Since I rap with emotion and sincerity, I want to make as many people as possible happy.
