Good sleep is essential for children's healthy development as they grow. A 2015 study from National Taichung University of Education found that playing soft music with a tempo of 60-80bpm and a volume of under 40dB, combined with the right instruments and arrangement, can significantly improve young children's sleep quality. The research showed that children who listened to music had fewer disruptive behaviors before falling asleep, such as disturbing others, changing positions, or keeping their eyes open. They also fell asleep faster, and experienced fewer sleep interruptions, waking up feeling more refreshed (Chung, 2012). Additionally, a similar study was published in the Journal of Music and Medicine in 2016.
