MC and beatmaker IKE and producer/DJ TOSHIKI HAYASHI (%C) have announced the release of their new joint single, "Catch Up."

In 2024, IKE featured on TOSHIKI HAYASHI (%C)'s album City to City, Coast to Coast, and that same year, the pair dropped their joint single BAD BWOY, which remains fresh in listeners' minds. Their latest collaboration comes in the form of Catch Up.

Catch Up serves as a prologue for upcoming releases under the IKE × TOSHIKI HAYASHI (%C) name, with more tracks already in the works. Built around a light, playful guitar riff and a bouncy bassline, the track reflects its title's theme - "catching up" - as IKE's lyrics express the daily struggles and ambitions that drive him forward. TOSHIKI HAYASHI (%C) Joins the "Sea of Love" Series for the First Time!
His new track "Naminokoe," themed around the ocean, features longtime collaborator and rapper maco marets-a chill summer tune perfect for seaside listening.

Laid-back electric piano and guitar grooves blend with boom-bap beats, while mellow vocals and smooth raps ride the rhythm like the gentle sound of waves, creating a soothing, chill-out experience.

Recording and mixing were handled by renowned engineer Shintaro Sato, known for his work with SANABAGUN., Ryohu, ODD Foot Works, tonun, and Shin Sakiura.

This is the lead digital single from the upcoming "SALT... meets ISLAND CAFE - Sea of Love 3" compilation-curated by the new beach lifestyle and surf culture magazine "SALT...", offering a fresh take on modern surf music.
