앞서 발표했던 미니 앨범 ‘Blossom Tape Part. 1’의 후속작이자 완성작입니다. 음악을 시작하고 난 후 항상 받았던 질문은 ‘네 학업이 아깝지 않니?’ 혹은 ‘너가 뭐가 아쉬워서 음악을 하려 그래?’였습니다. 다 맞는 말입니다. 남들이 인정해주는 학교를 다니는 것도 맞고, 아깝다고 생각할 수 있죠. 근데, 남들이 시키는 대로 공부만 하던 제 유년기를 대학에 와서도 이어 나가긴 싫었습니다. 전 어렸을 때부터 음악이 좋았고, 듣기만 하던 음악을 제 힘으로 어떻게든 꾸역꾸역 만들어볼 수 있다는 생각에 온몸에 전율이 흘렀습니다. 누군가의 간섭 없이 제가 원하는 대로 무언가를 꾸며나갈 수 있는 기회가 살면서 얼마나 될까요? 누군가는 철이 없다 말할 수 있지만, 지금의 저는 아직 철 들고 싶어하지는 않는 것 같습니다. 이 앨범은 저를 위한 저만의 생일선물이자, 한 해의 마무리가 될 것 같습니다. 재밌게 들어주세요!
