SUGIURUMN, which released its first album in seven years, "SOMEONE IS DANCING SOMEWHERE", in August, simultaneously releases two titles that served as major impetus for the album's production!
 The album, a compilation of songs provided for a total of five collections for the 2021 SS/FW, 2022 SS/FW, and 2023 SS of TAKAHIROMIYASHITA The Soloist. organized by fashion industry charismatic Takahiro Miyashita, is released on digital!
 
 TAKAHIROMIYASHITA The Soloist. of Takahiro Miyashita, who is internationally acclaimed for his solitary style and unique stance in the fashion scene, created the soundtrack for a video expressing his concept during a time when his collection could not be held due to a global pandemic. Eiji Sugiura created the soundtrack.
 Miyashita, a well-known music fan, asked SUGIURUMN / Eiji Sugiura, who was also active as The Alexx at the time, to produce the soundtrack. This was the first experience for Miyashita to translate his image into sound through trial and error. It was a never-ending process, a maze with no correct answers, and an experience that made Eiji Sugiura's consciousness synchronize with Takahiro Miyashita's brain. This dense and intense production experience led to SUGIURUMN's new album "SOMEONE IS DANCING SOMEWHERE", which has a freer and broader musical style.
 The resulting songs are soundscapes on a level that could be used in a Hollywood movie. Even a single beat, a single hi-hat, is sharpened, and the depth and profundity of the sound is so tense that it could be a representation of a world in the throes of a pandemic. The result is an ambitious work that moves from left-field downtempo to dub, breaks, industrial, and rock.

SUGIURUMN, which celebrates the 25th anniversary of its debut this year, releases its first album in seven years!
SUGIURUMN has invited a number of singers including Keiichi Sogabe, Jun Yoshimura (WINO), Have a Nice Day! Hokuto Asami, Haruna Yusa, Schadaraani, and Mirai Kikura, all of whom have been close friends of SUGIURUMN since its debut, to produce the first Japanese-language music by SUGIURUMN to deliver music that defies categories. The cover artwork was designed by world-renowned fusion designer Takahiro Miyashita, and mastered by Yoshinori Sunahara.
