What’s wrong with 'freak'? Here’s an adorable 'FREAK'
YUQI’s 1st Mini Album [YUQ1]

YUQI, a member of (G)I-DLE, who achieved four consecutive 'PAK' (Perfect All Kill) on major domestic music chart with the 2nd Full Album [2] released in January, will release her first solo album [YUQ1] that contains her own unique color. Previously, YUQI demonstrated endless potential for growth through the Digital Single [A Page] and has built a variety of musical careers, attracting attention from both Korean and international top artists with her attractive voice.

YUQI’s 1st Mini Album [YUQ1] embodies 'YUQI' herself, as evident from the title. This album, reflecting YUQI’s free-spirited yet delicate artistic qualities, visually expresses strong confidence in her first album by incorporating the number 1 as the letter "I" in YUQI’s name.

The title song 'FREAK' is a song filled with YUQI’s lively energy and presents the special moment to mundane daily life. In particular, she sings about the unique charm of 'FREAK' with honest lyrics such as 'She’s a Certified Freak' and 'I'm a Certified Freak', revealing that she is singing about herself, YUQI. The song radiates YUQI’s confidence in embracing the difference from others and accepting it as her own personality, providing listeners with a fresh sense of liberation.

YUQI, who composed many songs on (G)I-DLE’s album, adds authenticity and completeness to her first solo album by lyricist and composer on most of the songs, including the title track 'FREAK'. In addition, by featuring various artists such as MINNIE of (G)I-DLE, pH-1, and Lexie Liu. YUQI’s unique music color is established with more diverse genres and stories.

(여자)아이들 멤버 우기가 참여한 ‘Not Cinderella’는 여주인공 테릴 리한을 테마로 제작한 곡으로, 신조(SINZO)와 히스(Hiss)로 구성된 EDM 프로듀서 팀 하이퍼타임(HypeerTime)의 사운드 위에 우기의 파워풀한 보컬이 어우러져, 이제 더 이상 누군가의 신데렐라로 살지 않겠다는 주인공의 선언을 강렬하게 표현한다.


<신데렐라는 내가 아니었다> 작품 소개

사람들은 테릴을 ‘신데렐라’라고 불렀다.
남작가의 방계일 뿐인 그녀가 후작가의 차남과 연인이 되며 달게 된 호칭이었다.
하지만 어느 날, 그는 돌연 이별을 선고하고 테릴은 연인의 배신에 큰 상처를 입고 절망한다.

그런 그녀 앞에 갑자기 나타난 ‘북부의 왕’ 리한 공작.
그는 죽은 줄로만 알았던 테릴의 친부였고, 하루아침에 공작의 딸이 된 그녀는 혹독한 수업을 받으며 가문의 후계자가 된다!

3년 후, 테릴은 전 연인에게 복수하기 위해 그가 가장 원하는 것,
