On October 2, Jinmenusagi's "SAKURABA (Remix) feat. ACE COOL" and ACE COOL's "Competition (Remix) feat. Jinmenusagi" were simultaneously released on various platforms.

Although a two-man live show featuring Jinmenusagi and ACE COOL was just announced, these singles are being released ahead of the event. For this release, Jinmenusagi wrote a new verse for "Competition," while ACE COOL wrote a new verse for "SAKURABA." Both tracks were newly recorded and will be performed for the first time at the Jinmenusagi x ACE COOL two-man live show on October 9th at Shibuya WWW X.

The two artists have long shared a close relationship, frequently collaborating on tracks and events, but this marks their first joint release under both their names. These two special tracks serve as clues to uncover Jinmenusagi's evolution in his self-produced DONG JING REN series, as well as the philosophy and narrative ACE COOL presents in his latest work, Lights And Darkness.

Competition (feat. Jinmenusagi) [Remix]

The album "Meian" was released on May 29th (Wednesday), approximately four years after the album "GUNJO," which garnered high acclaim for its overwhelming skill and lyricism.
ACE COOL, who has been demonstrating a strong presence in the scene through participation in video contents such as "Red Bull 64 Bars" and "03- Performance," guest appearances, performances at various festivals, and the successful solo live performance "Gunjo no Ato" held at Shibuya WWW on March 7th this year.
Amidst heightened anticipation from fans, this release has been eagerly awaited. ACE COOL describes it as an extremely personal work that continues to answer the universal question of "What is happiness?" without compromise.
JJJ, Miru Shinoda, BFN TOKYOTRILL, Atsu Otaki, and Yuke Myras contribute to the production, while the piano arrangements throughout the album feature the participation of Moto Shirase and Kento Yamada of yahyel on guitar, resulting in experimental richness both in theme and musicality.
Mixing for 11 tracks was handled by Atsu Otaki, with only "Affection" mixed by JJJ, and mastering was done by Mike Bozzi. The artwork was created by Atsushi Yamanaka.
The CD booklet for "Meian" is scheduled for release around summer this year.

Light And Darkness

In this song, "ACE COOL" praises the "purity" of "disinterested curiosity" set to Miru Shinoda's speedy jazzy beat. The attitude of "contemplative modern rapper = ACE COOL," which connects to ancient Greece, can also be seen as his form of boasting. His rapid-fire rap, releasing his preferred items one after another, liberates the "pure soul" confined within the depths of the listener's heart.

Interest

ACE COOL will release a new song called "Self Esteem" on November 25th.
This song is ACE COOL's quintessential trap song over which he dares to seal his high-speed rapping. The song's lyrics, in which ACE COOL uses "Self Esteem" for Mental-boasting, reveal the essence of ACE COOL's spirit. Produced by BFN TOKYOTRILL, a familiar friend from "RAKURAI" and "RAGE.
