2010년 [그토록 추운겨울], 2012년 [양화대교]로 뉴에이지 피아니시즘의 새로운 면을 보여주었던 피아니스트 태경의 또 다른 시도가 시작된다. 연주가로써 연주곡만 쓰는 것도 당연한 일이지만, 때로는 연주가도 가사가 있는 곡을 자기의 이야기를 가사로 담아내고 싶을 때도 있을 것이다. 정규 앨범에서는 연주곡을 선보이고, 싱글 앨범에서는 노래 곡으로 듣는 이의 귀를 사로잡을 그의 이번 프로젝트 중, 그 첫 번째 ‘The Musician’은 음악으로 사람들을 위로해주고 싶은 마음에서 시작되었다. 기타리스트 허석과 1집부터 그의 노래 곡들을 불러온 보컬리스트 강민욱의 참여로 이번 앨범의 컨셉인 태경만의 맛을 한층 더했다.
