In 2025, Def Tech celebrates the 20th anniversary of their debut. The lead track from their upcoming full album, "On the Shore," gently envelops listeners with the warmth of both voices.

On the Shore

Marking their 20th anniversary in 2025, this is their 11th full-length album, led by the title track "On the Shore".
It includes "Save Me Tonight", a tie-up with Audio-Technica, and "Automatic", a track that blends the latest Nikon technology.
Also featured are "FANTASY", produced by JQ from Nulbarich and used as the theme song for the film Summer Time Forever, and "ANOHI", a collaboration with longtime friend JESSE.
A total of 13 tracks are included.

Here is the completion of a timeless masterpiece. Deepening their bond since the 2000s, Def Tech and JQ from Nulbarich finally realized their long-awaited collaboration. Their history dates back to before JQ's debut, when they met at a session with a certain artist. Def Tech's early song "Emergency" was a mental support for JQ during his time in New York when he went there alone. This work expresses the Def Tech that JQ has seen from the beginning to the present. The world is always repeating the same things, but with a bit of awareness, we might be able to change. Break free from the world of illusions and confirm true love. With precisely constructed poetic lyrics, beautifully fleeting harmonies, and a repeating beat ensemble, this song has been completed as a universal piece that represents this summer, making you feel a grand sunset with open arms.
The song has been selected as the tie-up song for the legendary surf movie "Endless Summer Digital Remastered Edition," which will be released nationwide from Friday, July 12th, at Shinjuku Piccadilly and other theaters.

Def Tech is not letting summer end!
During their highly anticipated hall tour, Def Tech surprised the audience by unveiling a new song on the opening day!
The track titled "Weakends" features the soothing sounds of the ukulele, creating a delightful holiday tune. It embodies Def Tech's signature blend of acoustic and beat-making, which pioneered Jawaiian Reggae.
With lyrics like "Let's go of all season and feel the changing of the seasons," the song warmly encourages spending every season with you, even beyond summer. The beautiful harmonies of Shen & Micro, along with the contrast of reggae voices, make this song truly outstanding.
