3rd single "Ugly Swan" took 4 years to produce, and the members originally wanted to release it as the first song of Van de Shop, but now they have released it as Ugly Swan (ReArrange ver.)!
The design is based on the image of an "ugly duckling" and carries the message, "Even if you had a bad upbringing or have given up on something in the past, it's beautiful how everyone strives to become a better version of themselves." .

Nine months after their smash hit "Luxury Spoon" (opening theme for the TV anime "Tondemo Sukiru de Isekaihouroumeshi"), "Van de Shop" has finally completed their long-awaited new single, their 6th single." As the title "Happiness Encyclopedia" suggests, the song is positive. Positive lyrics about finding miracles, small happiness, and the like that are usually overlooked in spite of backward feelings and pain, and a melody filled with tenderness and emotion. The arrangements are innovative, incorporating hammering rhythms and sound effects, and can be described as a "fusion of guitar pop and urban R&B. Sophisticated yet emotional, this is the birth of Van de Shop's new pop music.
