As AIMI, due to my love for animals and children, I've created a whimsical children's song where animals take center stage. The song's story features a rabbit as the captain of an animal team, embarking on a dream journey through the sky in a hot air balloon with other animals.

The inspiration for this song came to me during a volunteer beach cleanup I participated in. The clouds in the sky appeared to be shaped like hot air balloons. I imagined putting animals in those balloons, hoping that children would joyfully sing along, and thus, this song was born.

I wish for peace for all living creatures and for countless smiles to fill the faces of children. And I would be truly happy if everyone who hears this song enjoys singing and dancing along.

Aimi's Original Children's Song No. 1

This song is based on a true story from when I was seven years old, celebrating my Shichi-Go-San with my family, and what I said to my father then.

My parents raised my younger brother and me with both strictness and deep affection, teaching us Japanese customs.

The true story goes like this: when I reached the top of the stairs at the shrine for our Shichi-Go-San visit, I fell. I remember the left side of my "pokkuri geta" (wooden clogs), which I was wearing for the first time, rolling away in slow motion with a "kara-kororin" sound, like the ringing of a bell.

Knowing that all of this was a ritual wishing for children's happiness and health, I feel nothing but "gratitude" for the embrace of Japanese traditions.

And with the small power I have, I also tried to connect with these Japanese customs through senryu (a short form of Japanese poetry).

I am deeply moved that these feelings, expressed in my senryu, were also recognized with an award.

From the bottom of my heart, I pray for the happy growth of all children.

A song about a Japanese father and daughter (feat. Akey)

There are four things that will happen on December 8th.
1,Outbreak of the Pacific War
2,The day John Lennon was taken to heaven
3,The day when Buddha attained enlightenment
4,My birthday
Etc., etc.
Based on these four points, we should consider war, which is a modern-day man-made disaster.
And then there is the pandemic, a natural disaster on earth that goes beyond human understanding.
I realized that these events were subtly related, and once again,
Recognizing the birth of life in history
Is this okay?
I asked this question and created it as a mother's love for her child.

I would be happy if my mother's love reached your heart like ripples.

Suite December 8th ~ Why? What is justice? ~ (feat. Akey)

The sound that begins with the eccentric piano seems to be the tone of labor pain...
From there, I created a song about her mother's joy when her child was born, surrounded by the blessings of nature.

This is the universal "song of the birth of all life."

Once again, our lives are
We created it with a prayer for a peaceful earth that co-exists with the natural world.

I would be happy if the soft waves of this song could reach you in your daily life.

I tried to fuse this song with literature and music.
I wrote this lyric in some old, beautiful, forgotten, Japanese.
This song expresses the image scenery felt by a Japanese woman of 1 year and 12 months.
And I hope that the listener will feel the image of fatherhood and motherhood in nature and be healed.
This song was completed with the cooperation of akey's arrangement and piano playing.
