For the first time ever, Velvet Aduk presents a full-length album in her native Dusun language—a deeply personal project made up of 9 original songs, most of which she wrote herself. Produced by Velvet and co-produced by Brandon Laurie, this album is a heartfelt tribute to her roots, her identity, and the language that shaped her. From soulful melodies to rhythmic storytelling, each track reflects her journey, pride, and love for her culture. The album also features a special duet with fellow Sabahan artist, Arddley Nicholas, adding another layer of depth to this meaningful release. Scheduled for release in May, the album is Velvet’s offering to her community during the Kaamatan (Harvest Festival)—a time when the Kadazandusun people come together to celebrate life, gratitude, and tradition.

This is more than music. This is home.

Ogingol

"Kopiruba Wagu Insan Tadau," which means "’Til We Meet Again" in English, is Velvet Aduk’s third Dusun-language single from her upcoming Dusun album.

Alena Murang

Just in time for the Gawai celebrations, Sabahan singer songwriter, Velvet Aduk, and Sarawak’s sape’ songstress Alena Murang have joined forces to release a new song  titled Bejugit Betanda Menari (meaning Dance Dance Dance). This upbeat track with its catchy rhythm is guaranteed to get you in the Gawai mood that sweeps across the island of Borneo. 
The song, written in Bahasa Iban and Bahasa Malaysia, is their first collaboration as a duo

"Darkest Knight" is Velvet Aduk's debut full-length English album, featuring fourteen songs that showcase a new dimension of her storytelling and songwriting. Exploring the universal theme of heartbreak, the album seeks to bring peace, healing, and inspiration to anyone facing similar challenges, bringing a sense of strength through music and its lyrics.

Darkest Knight

Darkest Knight will be Velvet's final release before the debut of her full album - entitled Darkest Knight.
