Lonely Girl

DÉ DÉ MOUSE's new project "Wisperwave," themed on the skies outside of Tokyo!
The EP "Afternoon Weather" will be released from the Chill & Relax media "Lonely Girl", which is based on the concept of "I'm a little tired ..." and will develop sounds for people who are a little tired all over the world with illustrations and photos. 
The EP will be released in the future, and the song "Mr. Weterlies" will be released first from the EP.

It is a simple yet melodious song that evokes a typically Japanese scene, intertwined with a piano and a chill beat that immerse the listener in nostalgic feelings.
We hope you will listen to it as you recall that memory of a certain day and bask in the afterglow.

"DÉ DÉ MOUSE" is a producer/keyboardist/DJ who continues to create many followers both at home and abroad with his melodic cut-up techniques and catchy and mysterious melodies/chord structures,
In 2023, he released "Sparkler Girl," a collaborative EP with maeshima soshi, and in 2024, he released "Riverside Girl," a collaborative EP with Refeeld, which was selected for numerous playlists and attracted attention in various fields.

The artwork was drawn by Tomoko Oshima, a manga artist/illustrator, and visually captures an emotional scene of the streets of Seiseki Sakuragaoka, capturing the imagination of the listener.

DÉ DÉ MOUSE's new project "Afternoon Air Currents," themed on the skies of Tokyo's suburbs, started in April this year. 
About 4 months after the last EP, the album with 16 songs will be released 
and the preceding track "Cumulonimbus" from the album will be released on September 5th.
The release will be a continuation of the previous release [I'm a little tired ... ]" as in the previous release, from the Chill & Relax media "Lonely Girl".
The nostalgic piano and simple beat of the song 
easily evoke a summer afternoon in the mind of the listener.
You can ponder over the memories of that day, and you will naturally rediscover a moment of universal happiness.

Whisper of a Summer

DÉ DÉ MOUSE's new project "Wisperwave" is based on the skies of suburban Tokyo
The popular chill/lo-fi label Lonely Girl has already released "Afternoon Weather," a 7-song EP set in Seiseki Sakuragaoka!

This is the EP of "Wisperwave," a new project by DÉ DÉ MOUSE, who has an extraordinary love for the town of Seiseki Sakuragaoka and the Tama Hills in Tama City, Tokyo, which was also the model for Studio Ghibli's "Ears to the Sky".

Starting with "Mr. Weterlies," released as a preceding single, the EP features the ballad-like piano chill "In Those Days," a song about Tojikata-zaka (commonly known as Obakezaka), "A Windy Day," with its jazzy piano, catchy cut-up voice and swaying high hat, and "Blue Sky," a refreshing piano beat inspired by a scene from "Ears to the Sky", "Lost Heart in The Rain", a sad song as if you are standing alone on a street corner in the rain, "Funny Little Cat", a peaceful afternoon time with a funky ragtime piano loop, "Way Home Melody", a nostalgic song as if you are walking home from school, a song that makes you feel as if you are in the middle of a beautiful day. The sound and titles of all the songs, which remind one of a scene in a story, are filled with the message of the Wisperwave, which wants people to go beyond work background music and enjoy chill sounds.

The artwork, which captures the streets of Seiseki Sakuragaoka, is by Tomoko Oshima, an illustrator who handles all of Lonely Girl's artwork.

DÉ DÉ MOUSE's new project "Wisperwave," which loves the suburbs of Tokyo, will surely take you back to that nostalgic scenery.
