Produced with partner-in-crime Darkoloco, the Kupu Kuwi is built around darker-edge, percussive, sinister tech house sound, with Javanese gamelan & sinden vocal samples giving it a kind of mystical vibe. On the remix side, Treble Rex' treatment is a longer, mesmeric sonic trip, while still keeping it dark & driving. On a lighter note, Timsdub delivers a totally different, quirkier approach, enriched with his style of wicked sound architecture. This EP reminisces you of that memorable early 2000 tech house era, when deep, dark & dirty music is the formula of good party & good time!
