I’mdifficult我是機車少女一別以往的樂團編制，這次選了三首歌曲和製作人Flowstrong合作，把舊歌抽絲剝繭，搭配新的元素，製作成了著重節奏的電子舞曲，樂團的元素帶來豐富的人性，而電子元素則帶來前所未有的秩序和剛硬。這張Remix EP由Through the night揭開序幕，第二首Half-Full再加上香港歌手Moon Tang和台裔美籍的Wade Dao的合作，打造了一首從Alternative出發的RnB/嘻哈歌曲，抓耳的旋律和令人不禁舞動的節奏，又還保有原曲的一種躁動。第三首則是Last Summer，和台灣音樂人陳嫺靜合作，把原曲的青春浪漫，唱成對於過去的不耐，像是打破美好意象的泡泡，掉進硬派的house track裡，一直奔跑一直奔跑。三首Remix是我是機車少女第一次和其他藝人合作歌曲，象徵著樂團的改變，也承志過去「成長」主題。

NIMBO is the latest project by WADE DAO and HUGO, a unique MC/producer duo taking Taipei by storm. Known for their signature medley of poetry, symbolism, critique, storytelling, and journalism, they are two unmistakable beacons in Taiwan’s conception of independent and alternative Hip-Hop. 

Mixing dark humor, poetry, and the alchemy of sampling anything, anyhow—WADE DAO and HUGO appear as an urgent force of nature, painting a picture of a city whose creative environment is at the edge of disaster, and their subsequent intervention. It’s bittersweet, as if they were forced to make this, out of a certain necessity for change. 

Released by the enigmatic music creative agency and label Melting Part, the 7-track project looms over the city like a thundercloud that never comes down. Sonically, the production on the album sounds blunt, dense, warm, and dangerous (produced entirely by WADE DAO and HUGO)—sharpened by the sonic engineering of GMA-winning producer and longtime collaborator rgry.

“FLYGOTT” is the lead single and the duo’s unmistakable call to arms. Filled with hope and urgency, the track features both MCs at their sharpest and most vulnerable. In the music video directed by R8ISE, the two throw down in front of Taiwan’s National Concert Hall, and each MC’s voice leaves a trail of fire across the traditional rap narratives of violence and drugs. Both WADE DAO and HUGO know that here, in Taipei, the war is internalized. “Strong man needs a good cry”, laments HUGO, while WADE DAO asserts: “if we ain’t gon’ move, 還有誰?”. 
Meanwhile, “LES HOOPERS” is the most athletic track on the album. WADE DAO and HUGO appear like two olympians trading fire, over a beat that changes restlessly, flickering between noir jazz and fanfare. “BRUNCH” submerges listeners in a spiritual forest of echoes and trailing sirens, sounding much like what a subconscious would sound like, if the city had one.
NIMBO is a project that yearns loudly: for freedom, love, justice, revenge, and change.

在《 NIMBO 》中，WADE DAO 和 HUGO 將黑色幽默、詩歌和宛如煉金術一般的取樣 (sampling) 精髓混合，像一股勢不可當的自然之力，
描繪出台北如臨災難邊緣的創作場景，以及他們隨後的介入行動。對他們來說這是一張五味雜陳，猶如被環境的需求逼使而作成的專輯。 
由跨域潮流文化音樂品牌  Melting Part 發行，這張包含 7 首曲目的專輯如雷雲般懸浮於城市上空，不曾降落。專輯音色鈍厚、溫暖且危險，
全由 WADE DAO 和 HUGO 親自操刀製作，並經金曲獎得主、長期合作夥伴 rgry 的聲音處理加持。

〈FLYGOTT〉為向場景的呼喚、展現二人已蓄勢待發的首波單曲。充滿希望與迫切感，兩位 MC 在曲中將他們的鋒芒與脆弱淋漓盡致地呈現。
由 R8ISE 執導的 MV 拍攝於台灣國家音樂廳前，兩人聲音化為藍火、炙燒著傳統饒舌中已過度飽和的暴力和毒品敘事。WADE DAO 和 HUGO 都深知，在台北的戰場，
槍口已指向城內。HUGO 悲嘆道：「堅強的人也需要大哭一場 (Strong man needs a good cry) 」，而 WADE DAO 則表達：「如果我們不行動 (if we ain’t gon’ move)，還有誰？」

同時，〈LES HOOPERS〉是專輯中最靈活的曲目，WADE DAO 和 HUGO 化身兩位奧運選手，在不安定的節拍上交鋒，節奏在黑色爵士 (noir jazz) 與號角聲間閃爍變化。而〈BRUNCH〉則將聽眾帶入迴盪與尾隨警鳴聲的靈性森林，彷彿是這座城市的潛意識在低語―若它有自己的聲音的話。

《 NIMBO 》是一張大聲渴求「自由、愛、正義、復仇與變革」的專輯。

《WAVE.DAO》這張專輯靈感來自於探索新城市時的音樂隨機播放、90年代的 UK Garage 音樂以及 WADE DAO 在台北成長過程中的舞者經歷。這次專輯風格上與 WADE DAO 之前作品中的印象派歌詞與緩慢循環有所不同，反之，《WAVE.DAO》的節奏感婉如高速汽車追逐——介於一口新鮮空氣和一劑腎上腺素之間——完美適合在舞池上揮灑或在空曠街道上駕駛。《WAVE.DAO》專輯邀請兒時好友、長期合作夥伴的金曲製作人 rgry 操刀製作。
首波主打單曲《OGTFH》的 MV 由 WADE DAO 與動畫藝術家 Gnetiy (張藝騰) 和 Melting Part 共同導演和剪輯，帶來一場台北舞蹈和音樂場景的超現實拼圖，在過去與現在的片段之間的快速切換，似乎在預告著未來即將發生的事... 而我們只有二十四小時可以揭開這一切 (we’ve only got twenty-four hours to find out)。
與此形成對比的是，《LIKE WATER》與 SOWUT 聯手打造了一首憂鬱的 two-step 舞曲，讓人聯想到渡輪在翡翠般的水面上滑行，逃向未知的目的地。《LIKE WATER》的 MV 與 Plack Juice Films 合作導演和拍攝，帶來一場夢幻般的旅程，穿越指引我們走向黑暗與光明的潛意識之流。除此之外專輯的 B-Side 也專為 DJ  收錄加長演奏版 (extended instrumental) 與 rgry 製作的《KWDGD》remix 曲目。
WADE DAO 的作品核心精神是「動」 (movement) 與「導」 (navigation)：每天我們都必須在海海人生中做出選擇——選擇人、選擇時機、選擇時間——就像與這些抉擇共舞一般，《WAVE.DAO》是為那些舞動的人們而創作的作品，獻給所有在人生中跳舞的人。
由跨域潮流文化音樂品牌 Melting Part 共同製作，《WAVE.DAO》將同時推出與台灣街頭品牌 DeMarcoLab 聯名的系列商品、在高空時尚酒吧 CÉ LA VI Taipei 舉行的 pre-listening 派對，由日本 ODD TAPE DUPLICATION 發行的限量卡帶實體專輯，以及由 Melting Part 策畫的實體概念 pop-up 活動。

WAVE.DAO is WADE DAO’s newest project–inspired by the musical shuffle of navigating a new city, 90’s garage, and learning to dance while growing up in Taipei. The project departs from the impressionistic lyrics and languid loops heard on WADE DAO’s previous work. Instead, WAVE.DAO feels like adrenaline–perfect for cutting up dance floors or driving through empty streets. The project is engineered by childhood friend, longtime collaborator, and GMA-nominated producer rgry. 

OGTFH is the first single from WAVE.DAO: UKG/two-step that feels like a car chase at high speeds–perfect for cutting up dance floors or driving through empty streets. The music video for OGTFH is directed and edited in collaboration with animation artist Gnetiy and Melting Part. It’s a surreal tour through archival footage of friends and family, snapshots of the arts scene in Taipei. 

In contrast, “LIKE WATER” joins forces with new-wave pioneer Sowut for a melancholic cut, evoking images of a great escape, and ferries gliding across the surface of emerald waters. The MV for “LIKE WATER” is made in collaboration with Plack Juice Films, and presents a dreamlike journey through the subconscious currents guiding us toward dark and light. The album also features a b-side that includes rgry’s remix of “KWDGD” and extended instrumentals for DJs. 

At the heart of WADE DAO’s work is the spirit of movement and navigation: each day we must map and traverse the sea—of people, of choices, of time and timing—much like a dance with the elements. WAVE.DAO is a project dedicated to the movers, made for everybody dancing. 

Made in collaboration with Melting Part, “WAVE.DAO” also features a Capsule Collection by DeMarcoLab, a live showcase at CÉ LA VI Taipei, and a limited edition cassette by ODD TAPE DUPLICATION (Japan), and a pop-up curated by Melting Part.

WAVE.DAO: THE B-SIDES

WADE DAO 即將推出的EP名為《WAVE.DAO》靈感來自於探索新城市時的音樂隨機播放、90年代的 UK Garage 音樂以及 WADE DAO 在台北成長過程中的舞者經歷。《WAVE.DAO》與跨域潮流音樂品牌 Melting Part  合作發行，是向舞動 (movement) 與銳變 (change) 致敬的作品。

在《OGTFH》熱度尚未退潮之際，WADE DAO 的第二首 UKG 單曲《KWDGD》轉向了內省之路。這次的節奏有意地變得柔和，引導聽眾進入一個介於虛實之間的極簡時空。WADE DAO 慵閒的唱頌詩詞，在節奏與伴奏穿梭點綴—— Park Hye Jin 和 Galcher Lustwerk 的粉絲們肯定會在這裡找到共鳴。

《KWDGD》的 visualizer 是與動畫藝術家 Gnetiy 和 Melting Part 合作製作，將導航變成了一次公路旅遊。WADE DAO 和夥伴們在城市中駕車，尋找未知的目的地，呈現出一個夢幻般的拼貼，帶領觀眾遊走私房景點和夜幕降臨後的台北。

WADE DAO's forthcoming project is called WAVE.DAO. It's inspired by the musical shuffle of navigating a new city, 90's garage, and WADE DAO's experiences as a dancer growing up in Taipei. Made in collaboration with Melting Part, this is a project dedicated to movement and change.

Hot off the heels of “OGTFH”, WADE DAO's second UKG single “KWDGD” takes an introspective turn. Instead of gas-fueled distortion, the groove here feels intentionally softer, guiding listeners gently toward a liminal, minimal space. Somewhere above or behind the mix, WADE DAO peppers the track with laid back mantras. Fans of Park Hye Jin and Galcher Lustwerk will certainly find resonance here. 

Produced in collaboration with animation artist Gnetiy and Melting Part, the visualizer for “KWDGD” turns navigation into a family affair. WADE DAO and Co. drive around the city in search of an unknown destination. The result is a dreamlike collage that floats the viewers through secret hotspots, and Taipei after nightfall.
