In 2019, COLTECO traveled to Shanghai and Taiwan. I was fascinated by the exotic atmosphere of Shanghai and Taiwan when I created this work, "WOOLONGCHAINOISE". All the instrumental parts are made with analog synthesizers in this Asian electro-pop.

Keep The Funk (feat. COLTECO)

COLTECO, a Japanese Cosmic Disco band from Fukuoka, whose preceding singles, including "SUKIYAKI DISCOTECA" which reached No. 2 on the Apple Music's domestic techno charts, have been crowding the techno, house and dance charts in Asia, has completed its long-awaited album after four years!From Korea, plastic kid (360 Sounds / 8Balltown) participated. In addition, the jacket was created by Argentine artist Ania Hadjian, making it a worldwide work.

COLTECO's first album "ALBUS" released in 2017 ranked in J-Wave TOKIO HOT 100, and their EP "WOOLONGCHAINOISE" released in 2020 ranked No.1 on Apple Music's techno chart. Furthermore, it ranked in the charts of Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and China. The follow-up release "IKASAMA STORY (SPACE DISCO REMIX)" reached #9 on the Hong Kong techno charts.
