QWERT

Rapper duo qwert, consisting of ksr:3 and Ryo, have released a new single, 'spoor', following their song 'spoor CHILLOUT mix', which won the CHILL OUT Award in the CCA 2022 music category, organised by CHILL OUT and Tune Core Japan, and has been newly reworked to reflect qwert's style. This single includes new elements, including a part by ksr:3 that was not appeared in the award-winning one, and is a groove-filled work that will add colour to the coming season.

qwert has released "Undeveloped freestyle", the theme song for the SS/25 launch of the up-and-coming fashion brand Undeveloped. qwert member ksr:3 sublimated the worldview of Undeveloped into an epic hip-hop beat, and Ryo, also a member of qwert, projected his passionate lyrics that overlap his own and the brand's. The song is a reflection of the brand's rebellious spirit.

Undeveloped freestyle

Coming up artist duo qwert releases their third EP "mōjū". This is a new work by the new format qwert, with member ksr:3 as producer and Ryo as main vocalist. The concept of this work is based on Edogawa Rampo's novel "The Blind Beast," reflecting qwert's unique worldview created by Ryo's lyrics and ksr:3's jazz-based tracks that express the raw emotions of conflict over the frustrations and disappointments of their current situation. With Taiwanese producer kilodey and Malaysian singer 2yu as guest performers, the EP has been sublimated into a work that represents Asian music industry.

mōjū

qwert has released the lead single, "u don't care" from its third EP, "mōjū". This is the first single from qwert's new lineup with ksr:3 as producer and Ryo as main vocalist, and it is a song that expresses dissatisfaction with the current situation with Ryo's powerful vocals on a jazzy track. The repetition of the hook "baby, you just don't care" will not leave your ears once you hear it.

u don't care

Bilingual hip-hop unit qwert has released its second EP "sakana". This is the second in a trilogy, following the previous release "cigarro," and is a darker, more rap-oriented work. The guest artists include Sadajyo and Jeff Loik from Japan, GREGBLU from the U.S., and Playbum from Korea, creating a great chemical reaction on the tracks. bitter, yet so sweet

The first in a three-part EP series that will lead up to their second album, "Elephant in the room", scheduled for release in 2024, "cigarro" is inspired by the seedworms found in cigarettes. The EP is a collection of hyperpop, house, and other genre-crossing tracks that represent the primal roots of qwert's career. The members are bilingual rappers, and their use of different languages in the name of "expression" is a breath of fresh air in the Japanese hip-hop scene. The philosophical concept of each song is sublimated into qwert's style, and each song shows a different face.
