Alicia Augello Cook is an American Musician as well as an actor who is professionally known as Alicia Keys. The talented artist was born on January 25, 1981, in New York, US. As growing up, she was raised by her mother, Nikki Augello who was a part-time actress as well as a paralegal. Alicia began playing piano at age of just 7 years, and her mother sensed that her daughter stuck with the instrument led Keys to attend Manhattan's prestigious Professional Performing Arts School, where she performed majorly in the choir.
