Sparkadia

小简介 A Sydney, Australia-born (2004) band, Sparkadia were originally the brainchild of vocalist Alex Burnett and drummer David Hall. The group eventually expanded its roster, adding Tiffany Preece on guitars and vocals and Nick Rabone on bass. In its early days, the band caught the ear of Ark Records, which signed the band soon after. The group's demos worked their way through the channels, and soon Sparkadia had lined up a collaboration with British producer Ben Hiller. Their first release, the Things Behind the Sun EP, was enough of a success that Sparkadia wound up opening for such groups as Bravery, Tegan and Sara, and Ben Lee, as well as getting to tour the U.K. with Jimmy Eat World and the Thrills. Their Top 25 debut album, Postcards, was released in 2008. It spawned a hit single in "Too Much to Do."
