Danton Eeprom

Danton is part of a new generation of French producers who can perfectly play in the major league. An acute sense of performance has quickly allowed him to sublimate his repertoire. He has made a name for himself in the most highly rated european clubs : from Berlin (Maria, Rio, 103) to Paris (Pulp, Batofar), to London (Computer Blue, Trailer Trash, Electrowerkz) to Kiev and Glasgow (The Arches). The list is still growing. With the support of these performances that have marked the bodies and mind, from Ewan Pearson to Laurent Garnier, Danton has released his electro tracks on Berliner label Electrobot, whose name "Retronica de Reve" embodies his style ; an exciting blend of electro, trance and new wave on Virgo (Prohibition Ep), An electro anthem Ep with a strain of acid on Hot Banana (Les Amants Robotiques), an old school electro 12" (Disko Trash) on Belgian Lektroluv, and a two-track dancefloor filler for Kevin Griffiths' Tsuba London, to be released soon. Ewan Pearson has playlisted a track from Prohibition EP on his latest mixed cd on Soma Records, "Sci.Fi.Hi.Fi". Danton's work hinges on everything currently considered creative in electro : harmonies, a solid kick, a mental dimension, Dopplereffekt old school electro technique and on several tracks the good old days synth pop/new wave elegance. Mental and yet dancefloor-oriented, his production holds numerous insistent and whirlwind tracks, playing on duration, that can make a jockey and his audience feel dizzy. His track "Final Night" is considered a top ten 2005 track by french Dj Agoria, and Cozzy Mozzy playlisted it recently in his Dirty Dancing compilation. Shouting out loud his passion over stunning electro anthems, the man with the cylinder hat and the fulminant creativity never gives into routine, blasting the stage with the energy he got from his rock background, creating a new breed of electro sound, givin away dreams and fantasies in a retro futurist, glamorous way.
