Annelies Burmeister

Annelies Burmeister began her theater career as an actress in the Low German stage in Schwerin. From 1951 to 1956 she studied at the Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt Weimar singing with Helene Jung [2]. In 1956 she made ​​her stage debut in The Tales of Hoffmann at the Municipal Theatre of Erfurt, after she was hired at the National Theatre, before moving in 1959 at the Dresden State Opera.
