Miss Molly

Miss Molly & Me is doing well, very well. Two years ago this duo appeared out of the blue with their debut album Rewind and Say Hello. The release was followed by 30 concerts in theaters throughout The Netherlands. They appeared several times on the Dutch television and supported artists like Benjamin Francis Leftwich, MOKE and The Webb Sisters. Miss Molly & Me consists of Marlijn Weerdenburg, also an actress with her own tv show called Danni Lowinski, and Helge Slikker, award winning composer for the music of the internationally acclaimed ‘Kauwboy’. The first half of 2013 was all about their tours abroad (ao New York, Rome, Milan, Cape Town), the second half is dominated by the release of their new album TRAVELERS and the new tour. This time they worked with a whole band. The songs on the album are inspired by their traveling, the stories they encountered, the beauty, the rawness and the unexpected. Miss Molly & Me stands for surprising folky and soulful music complemented with harmonic vocals and a hint of humor. Where Helge seems to be the modest musician, Marlijn appears to be the femme vocale that draws the audience without hesitation into the universe of Miss Molly & Me.
