Violent Entity

From the mind of Damion Drullinger, currently hailing from Philadelphia, PA we have the cold and dark EBM project Violent Entity.  Damion formed this project in 2002 and creates his music based on his love for hardcore EBM and electronic industrial music.  He soon partnered up with Karloz M. of Manufactura fame and together they put together their debut album Mechanized Division released in early 2005 by the European label Black Rain.   Damion is no stranger or newcomer to the industrial music scene.  He has spent time in the San Francisco and Seattle scene, touring with Manufactura, playing live with Terrorfakt and appearing on a number of compilations.  However, this is just the beginning of what we know as Violent Entity.  The duo was later joined by E.S. Saturn on synths in the studio and live and the band is working on new material for a second album.   For fans of powerful EBM/Industrial music, this is a group that many will enjoy.  So far with their first album they have received many positive reviews from DJ's and zines around the world.  The overall feel of their style includes pulsating electronics, distorted growling vocals and militant beats bringing out a cold horrific, unfeeling dark wasteland.   As the band continues to progress, for sure they'll continue to experiment and release new music.  Meanwhile, rivetheads have plenty to enjoy just from their first album.
