Farid

Egyptian trance producer based around Calgary, Canada. Signed to Enhanced Music. Website: https://www.facebook.com/FaridOfficial https://soundcloud.com/elliptical-sun-energies Introduction : Having started listening to trance music in early 2007, Farid was drawn mainly to uplifting and progressive trance. He was able to see a lot of his favourite DJ's live since, courtesy of the sudden growth of the Middle Eastern EDM scene over the last few years. Farid has always had an analytical approach towards trance tracks, trying to determine what made his favorite tracks as good as he thought they were. In August of 2011, at the age of 21, he decided to try out trance production, trying to combine the groove and drive of progressive trance, with the atmosphere and melodics of uplifting trance. He finished his first track 'Skylines' in December 2011, and signed it shortly after to Perceptive Recordings. After having been supported by some of the world's top spinners, it was released in September of 2012. After only 3 releases, Farid has already had positive reviews by both DJ Mag and Mixmag; and is now making a home for himself on Enhanced Music.
