Not many bands split opinion in such extreme ways as the UK's premiere Gore/Death Metallers, AMPUTATED.............you either love them or completely despise them!   Since forming in 2002 the band have continued to forge a path as one of the most relentless live bands to spew forth from the viscera that is the UK metal scene, having played such legendary festivals as Mountains of Death, London Deathfest (a record 4 times), Deathfeast Open Air and the Obscene Extreme Festival as well as having toured the UK and Europe, and appeared on TV across the world. The band has shared stages with some of the elite bands in Death and Gore Metal circles including EXHUMED, DEICIDE, DISGORGE (Mex), SINISTER, VITAL REMAINS, DYING FETUS and SUFFOCATION - carving a reputation for rebellious showmanship, pummelling riffs and inhuman vocals that leave a path of destruction in the bands wake. Influenced by bands such as Cannibal Corpse, Six Feet Under, Carcass, Lividity, Devourment, Disgorge et al the band's vicious live assault has made sure that people suitably take notice whether in enjoyment or in disgust!   2013 sees the band on the eve of releasing their 3rd studio album entitled 'DISSECT, MOLEST, INGEST' via long suffering label Sevared Records. More than just a follow up to 2009's 'WADING THROUGH RANCID OFFAL', this will be the first album with a new line-up; the band having suffered a turbulent 4 years after the release of 'Wading.....' culminating in multiple departures and growing uncertainty as to the bands ongoing future.
