Seattle-based MandoMorphosis is a collaboration among seven experienced mandolin players who have come together to explore the boundaries of new acoustic music. This is their debut record. This mostly instrumental music includes many twists and turns, ranging from high-energy tunes with traditional roots, to free-wheeling jams, to fresh arrangements of classical works, to daring group improvisations.
