Adlib

Ad Lib were formed over long period of time when the founder members used to gather for specific events, but never officially formed the band. The exact time of forming what is now known as Ad Lib is difficult to say but we believe it was around 2001/2002. Since then we have performed for an increasing number of private functions including weddings, birthday parties and anniversaries. In late 2009/2010 our lead guitarist Richard Welbourne joined us in place of the retiring Malc Shorting. Richard has brought new influences and new ventures to the band, as has every member over it's near 10 year history. We are able to keep our fees low because none of us are paid to play. The money we charge goes band into the band to pay for our instruments, equipment and insurances. This allows us to keep our fees low so we can promote live music in the local area rather than people having to use an impersonal disco. We thoroughly enjoy our music and hope to record a demo CD very soon which will be uploaded to our You Tube and My Space account for any potential customers.
