Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, Wien, Austria To mark its 25th anniversary in 2012 the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra (GMJO) will, with the support of the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation, be organizing an Easter Tour with two concert programs featuring works by Wagner, Shostakovich, Webern, Zimmermann and Scriabin. After three successful European tours the GMJO has managed to enlist Ingo Metzmacher, one of the most convincing facilitators and performers of the symphonic repertoire of the 20th and 21st century.
