Ticia

Ticia Rose Grant, (born March, 25th, 1987, in Richmond Hill, Ontario) known professionally as Ticia, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and record producer. She is best known for her sultry yet powerful vocals, her dark, contemporary musical style, and more recently, for her skills as a music producer of EDM, dark house, trap, pop, and R'N'B. Ticia was raised in poverty by a single mother, until her teenage years led her into foster homes and group homes, as well as several incidents of homelessness. She describes these years of her life as "dark, terrifying and emotionally scarring". In 2019, she released her first single, an R'N'B song called Castles, which gained critical acclaim from many fellow Artists and Producers in Toronto, Ontario, where she grew up. She followed this single with several others, and released her first album Rouge independently in 2020, which featured collaborations with twelve producers and artists from eight countries. Her debut album Rouge, a mix of R'N'B, Trap, EDM, and Pop genres, achieved platinum status, and she continued to release several notable platinum records in the years following. Her singles and collaborations have topped charts internationally. and she has since released a total of three albums to date, including Rouge (2021), Gold and Halloween (2022). With a total of over sixty songs, Ticia began releasing songs under her own record label, Haunted House Entertainment in 2022. "No one is immortal, but music is." -Ticia
