방탄소년단 제이홉, 솔로 싱글 'on the street (with J. Cole)' 발표
"as always, for us"…
희망과 온기 가득한 'on the street (with J. Cole)'…
의미 있는 협업으로 탄생한 'on the street (with J. Cole)'

방탄소년단 제이홉이 3월 3일 솔로 싱글 'on the street (with J. Cole)'를 공개했다. 2022년 7월 첫 공식 솔로 앨범 <Jack In The Box> 발매 이후 약 7개월 만이다. <Jack In The Box>가 제이홉의 고민과 열정을 고스란히 담은 작품이었다면, 'on the street (with J. Cole)'는 희망과 온기 가득한, 제이홉이 전 세계 팬들에게 건네는 '팬 송'이다.

로파이 힙합(lo-fi hiphop) 장르의 'on the street (with J. Cole)'는 듣기 편한 멜로디와 따뜻한 가사, 여기에 제이홉이 직접 녹음한 휘파람이 조화를 이루는 이지 리스닝 곡이다.

제이홉은 'on the street (with J. Cole)'를 통해 다시 한 번 자신의 이름처럼 희망을 노래한다.

'on the street (with J. Cole)'의 뮤직비디오에는 자유롭게 거리를 누비며 노래하는 제이홉의 모습이 담겨 있다. 두 사람은 옥상에서 반갑게 인사를 나누며 'on the street (with J. Cole)' 뮤직비디오의 엔딩을 화려하게 장식했다.
