The track marked a significant point in his life as the artist charted for the first time and has maintained an upward trajectory ever since. ‘Bagcwele ngam’ is the Zulu translation for “They’re proud of me”. He triumphs over his accomplishments in the song’s chorus as he expresses, “Check the charts mama, Bangwele ngam!”

The song's production can be credited to Tr!x Thykingdom and Sixby9ine, a really talented rising Hip-Hop DJ. Teejay Mokoena and Sixby9ine mutual decision to create and release the single together is credited to them both being from Mpumalanga, therefore, this is their way of flying the flag high.

The project is about the discovery and awareness of Oriiginelle’s imperfections which stem from within, as a response to traumas from growing pains, and the progressive rehabilitation she has had to go through to evolve through these imperfections in pursuit of wholeness completion.
