Big Ass

Big Ass is a popular Thai rock band that started as a pop rock band but later on moved to hardcore punk music genre. During their early years until mid-2012, the group’s lead vocalist was Ekkarat "Dax" (or "Dak") Wongchalard and in the later half of 2012, Daycha "Jeng" Konalo became the new leading vocalist. Big Ass Songs, Albums & Awards In 1997, Big Ass released their first album Not Bad in 1997 on the Music Bugs label and won Best new artist award for the same in 1998, followed by the release of their second and third albums i.e. XL and My World in 2000 and 2003. All these were truly enjoyed by the audience and gained huge stardom. Till now the band has been recognized with numerous awards for their amazing work in the music industry and are much loved across the country. Not just studio albums, Big Ass has also done a song in the album Wan Fa Mai in 2005 and a song from this album "Rao" was performed along with Bodyslam. In 2017, they released their latest album The Lion that was recognized as Album of the year and had won Band Artist of the Year, and Guitar Man of the Year at Guitar Mag Awards 2018.
