Yuri Temirkanov

1938年12月尤里 捷米尔卡诺夫生于俄罗斯斯纳尔奇克，毕业于列宁格勒音乐学院，1966年在第二届全国指挥大赛中获一等奖，第二年任列宁格勒交响乐团音乐总监兼指挥，1977年离任后被任命为列宁格勒基洛夫歌剧院艺术总监兼首席指挥，1980年任英国皇家爱乐乐团首席客座指挥，赢得很高声望，1992年任该团首席指挥，还指挥过柏林爱乐、维也纳爱乐、德累斯顿、阿姆斯特丹、波士顿、洛杉矶爱乐、纽约爱乐、费城等乐队。1988年穆拉文斯基去世后，他任圣彼得堡爱乐乐团首席指挥。1990年纪念柴可夫斯基诞辰150周年的著名音乐会即由他指挥，RCA出了录音。
