868 Followers绚香早于高中时期已开始创作歌曲，她在中二时在学校的文化祭中首次在台上作公开演出，结果大受欢迎，令她立志要成为歌手。绚香在高中二年级时于福冈的音乐学校学习声乐、乐器、作曲及作词等技巧，她的作品深受唱片公司的高层赏识，多家公司均力邀她加盟，展开“绚香争夺战”。最后她在今年二月正式出道，为剧集《轮舞曲》唱主题曲《I Believe》，打入销量榜的第三位；然后首次巡回演唱会的门票亦在数分钟内售罄，之后第三张单曲《Real Voice》又被选为“月九”剧《Suppli》的主题曲。 不少新人在出道时都一鸣惊人，但往往后劲不继（如去年Sony力捧的高桥瞳），绚香的气势能够一直持续，因此被看好成为下世代的歌姬。
