Eamon出生于美国纽约，原名Eamon Doyle的Eamon，在他九岁时就展开演唱才华，跟着身为Doo Wop团体成员的父亲一起在纽约当地表演，并曾登上纽约著名的麦迪逊花园广场表演。之后Eamon被珍娜杰克逊、玛丽布莱姬等人畅销作品之幕后歌曲创作兼制作人Milk Dee发掘，偕同他的工作伙伴Mark Passy共同指导Eamon。在2003年他发行了他的首支单曲I Don't Want You Back，这首非常粗俗的单曲很快在美国的唱片市场上成为抢手货，随之，发行了个人首张专辑I Don't Want You Back。
