Chris Liebing是在1991年开始了他的DJ生涯的，他的第一个驻场DJ工作是在法兰克福附近的Giessen地方上的一家小酒吧"Red Brick"。在那里他播放的音乐范围很广，从Soul、Hip-Hop、Pop到House各类型都有。1993年某天他在Giessen当地的唱片行买了一张新唱片并因此接触到电子音乐他发现了音乐，一年后他决定开一间专放techno的俱乐部叫做"Spinclub"。但只维持了一年在1995年便关门大吉，之后Chris到法兰克服的Eye-Q Records工作。在那个期间结识了他的朋友兼伙伴Andre Walter，一起成立了他们的录音室并开始制作音乐。不久之后他们的第一张唱片在Global Ambition发行。Chris并因此结识了Downtown Records的Toni Rios和Tommy Bingel，他们一起创立了house厂牌”SOAP”，并开始大量发行各式house舞曲。
