Bodyslam

Originally known as La - On, Bodyslam is a Thai rock band popular for the unique voice of their lead vocalist, Athiwara "Toon" Khongmalai. It was during 1996 that the band entered a band competition for high school students called "Hot Wave Music Awards" and successfully won the first prize. Soon in 1997, the band signed a record deal with Music Bugs, and released a self-titled pop-rock album, the song Dai Rue Plao became the most recognized one from the album. In 2002, the band returned with a new name Bodyslam and moved to heavier rock music, in 2003, Bodyslam released their second album, Drive that won "Channel [V] Thailand Music Video Awards. In 2015 Bodyslam had a concert "100 Plus presents Bodyslam 13 years Concert", which was an anniversary concert and had many songs since their formation with the performance use time around 4 hours. Till now, the group has done several concerts across the countries, the latest one being during 9-10 February 2019, Bodyslam Fest Wi-Cha Tua Bao Live in Rajamangala Stadium.
