When we listen carefully to this 23 year-old man’s voice, we are struck; we are totally blown away. His debut EP contains tracks that sounds like classics. We may have found the secret spiritual son of Bill Whithers and Jamie Cullum: it is Alexandre Joseph ! From the first listening, we understand that he belongs to the long tradition of good music makers such as Jamie Lidell, Mayer Hawthorne, JMSN, Allen Stone, Matt Corby, James Bay, Leon Bridges, Michael Kiwanuka or Lianne La Havas. By adding perfectly well his prolific inspiration and his profound respect for Music’s codes, he got himself noticed by the famous french DJs Ofenbach and he is travelling among them around Europe. Alexandre Joseph carries passionately the Ancient’s soul in this new world.
