6.2k Followers小简介来自纽约的Gym Class Heroes(以下简称GCH)，起源於1997年负责说及唱的Travis “Schleprok” McCoy与鼓手Matt McGinley在高中一同上体育课而结识为好友，两位以嘻哈曲式跟几位乐手开始合作，直到2001年遇上吉他手Disashi Lumumba-Kasongo和贝斯手Eric Roberts后，GCH四人团体便告成型。1999-2001年间独立发行三张专辑，吸引踢爆时下做作男孩偶像团体假面具，给你最热血新世代之音的芝加哥庞克团Fall Out Boys贝斯手Pete Wentz的目光，穿针引线进入庞克大团Less Than Jake灵魂支柱Vinnie Fiorello所设立之音乐厂牌「Fueled By Ramen」旗下，后来Pete也组织品牌「Decaydance」，顺势拥有FBR发行权，进入华纳音乐集团怀抱，準备站上国际舞台一展身手。
