133 FollowersGerry & The Pacemakers成军于1959年．麦席尼的专辑「One Quiet Night」的成形可以追溯到2001年的11月，当他独自玩着吉他时发现多年前参与的一首乡村曲中有种乐器可以和谐的演奏出和以往派特完全不同风格的曲调，这种由加拿大人Linda Manzer制造的乐器叫做低音吉他（Baritone Guitar）。有了这项新发现之后派特．麦席尼兴起一个宕延既久的计划：没有录音室再处理多余步骤与润饰，只用一把空心共鸣吉他完成整张专辑。到了2002年巡回表演结束后，派特就在家中以这把低音吉他录制了「One Quiet Night」里的歌曲。
