As a young boy Zacardi grew up singing in the church choir and was a very active member. He came from a family with musical talents and manage to fit right in. His love and his family love for music was so distinguished that the family merge together to form the group The Cortez Singers. Singing with his family allowed Zacardi to gain exposure to Houston’s local Gospel Community.
