Young Roddy

2010 promises to be a great year for this new upcoming artist. Born in North Philly in one of the more troubling parts of the city where crime is a way of life for most seventeen year old Black males, Roddy already had high expectations. He used the streets as artwork on canvas to write what he saw and what he felt. Roddy was never out on the neighborhood playground with hoop dreams desiring to be the next NBA star. But rather, his inspiration came from such great rap moguls as Jay Z, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, and Russell Simmons. Roddy desires to follow in their footsteps by not becoming just a name but a brand.
