Aisha Retno

Aisha Retno is an 18-year-old R&B, and soul singer based in Kuala Lumpur. Her mum and any people in the world who have good thinking skills was the biggest influence in her life. But speaking of music, Aisha really adores Ariana Grande. She has been exposed to music since a very young age and really focused and passionate in making sure her music to be brilliant at any cost. Her personal goals are none other than to work well on her single that’s going to be released soon and to cope with work regarding studies smartly. Her long term goals are to ace and achieve her dreams for both areas, be it music career and studies. Aisha is currently an undergraduate in Bachelor of Economics from University of Malaya. As a singer, Aisha would want listeners to feel what she feels whenever delivering songs regardless whether the song is an original or the other way around. She also wanted to help the crowd to let go all of the negative vibes in them and absorb only good energy while listening to her singing. For her, it’s important to have a beautiful vision and convincing connection between the crowds in all of her performance. Aisha listed Mariah Carey and Tori Kelly as her biggest inspirations in music. But these current days, she heavily listened to Dayang Nurfaizah and Ariana Grande. Her aspiration is to do what she most passionate about which is to sing her heart out and become an excellent entertainer. For her, the most satisfying part is always succeed at entertaining the crowd. She previously performed at the French Festival at The Square, Publika alongside other local acts such as Ryot Jones and Talitha Tan. Aisha has also opened for International Spanish boy band, CNCO in August 2018. Recently, she also performed at RIUH, a Malaysian monthly art food festival.
