22 Followers亚东生于德格，12岁那年，亚东的父亲便撒手而去，留下他和两个妹妹与母亲相依为命，1981年12月，亚东退役到了德格县体委，1994年秋，中央电视台正在拉萨拍摄《向往神鹰》的MTV，当时演唱这首歌的4位藏族歌手都未能得到词曲作者扎西达娃和美朗多吉的认可。1995年，中国音乐电视大赛颁奖，这首《向往神鹰》获得了金奖，这是对亚东十几年来用心唱歌的肯定。
