David Moore

Born in Edinburgh, David Moore became a Licentiate of the Trinity College of Music, London, before leaving school. He engineered, produced and did session work at Sirocco Recording studios in Scotland, before joining his first ship in 1986 - leading a jazz trio on Cunard's QE2. Before long, he entered the solo world of piano bar entertainment, and has since worked for most of the major cruise lines. His performances have included everything from classical recitals to comedy variety shows, and his piano bar work embraces piano music and vocals from every conceivable genre, interlaced with an ever-present sardonic wit.
