After Spent Poets, Matt Winegar formed Slider. They recorded an album "Fremont" with Wic (William Ireland Coleman) on bass, and Josh Freese on drums. It was shelved. When finally released, it had a new name "Sudden Fun", one changed song title, a new closing track and Matt had re-recorded the bass parts himself.
